Alongside Dolly Parton and Slim Whitman will be none other than Anne George. Following this excellent achievement was her trip to New Zealand to meet with Bob Everhart, the president of the association. Mrs. George had the following comment to say about her accomplishment: "We knew he was looking to invite someone to the Iowa festival, but I never entertained the thought it would be me, let alone be a Hall of Fame inductee," Mrs George said. "I didn't believe it until it all came in writing a few days ago."
