Well, it looks like country western superstars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have one more accomplishment to add to their lists. The two artists both received the Academy of Country Music Career Achievement Award on June 5th in Omaha, NE right before they made a jump start to their Summer 2007 Soul2Soul tour. The awards are basically given to an artist, group, or duo that has made extraordinary progress in the country music industry in the previous year. In summary, McGraw and Hill both helped move country western music into a more accepted light and that means a lot to the industry and its followers.
