marty robbins, country music, news, hall of fame Late country music singer Marty Robbins is being given a cameo exhibit entitled "Marty Robbins: Among My Souvenirs" at the Country Music Hall of Fame. Planned to open on August 3rd in the East Gallery of the facility, the exhibit will continue to stay open until June of 2008. The legendary music star was officially inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame back in October of 1982, just seven weeks prior to his unfortunate death. Marty Robbins was known to be an exciting performer that got his crowd involved during his shows. Although he was known mostly for being a country music star, the versatile artist still recorded music within genres such as gospel, pop, rockabilly, hawaiian, and western. The upcoming exhibition at the Country Music Hall of Fame will be an excellent way to honor Mr. Robbins.
